Leadership and development programmes for people managers at all stages of their career from Supervisor and Team Leader to Senior Management
Bespoke, live, actor-led experiential training to facilitate specific learning needs and outcomes
Simulated clients and patients to support evaluation in high-stake examinations and promotional opportunities
Role Play has been used as a tool in education and therapeutic settings since the late 1940s in a variety of contexts and across such disciplines as therapy, research, organisational change and education at all levels.
It is an interactive exercise between a participant or candidate and one or more role players and can be scripted or bespoke (also known as real play)
Role Play adds an exciting, challenging and most importantly, an experiential aspect to training or development programmes, allowing participants to learn by experimentation, where they can ‘try out’ and be coached in new techniques or approaches in a safe, positive and constructive environment.
It involves both intellectual and emotional participation from participants. This usually involves the recreation of scenarios akin to those experienced in the work environment, thereby providing participants with an opportunity to reflect and perfect aspects of their communication skills in settings specific to their role within an organisation.
There is evidence around average learner retention rates showing figures as low as 10% in a traditional lecture style delivery, rising to over 70% when given the opportunity to practise (learning by doing).
Professionally facilitated workshops which are 100% learner centred, accelerate learning, raise participant’s self-awareness, confidence and observation skills, ultimately embedding the learning.
the things we have to learn before we do them, we learn by doing them

We support development programmes for staff at all levels from trainee to senior management.
We work closely with our clients, tailoring our inputs to facilitate the specific learning needs and outcomes.
As trained, professional actors they can respond organically and in the moment, deal with emotions, be observant of the participant’s progress, reflect on the experience and articulate their felt response.
Ensure a psychological safe space where their knowledge of learning tools and models allows them to deliver valuable, non-judgemental, developmental feedback to participants.
As experienced facilitators they manage these sessions fully without need for other client/trainer participation, saving on resources and costs.
